"De graines d'Art déco", the 22 ephemeral garden, evokes the influence of this major movement, its great source of inspiration for the gardeners of the City of Nancy. In 1925, the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris was the global showcase for a new aesthetic and artistic trend that took hold in the 20s and 30s: Art Deco.
In the garden, seeds of imagination have germinated and given birth to pavilions, symmetrical flowerbeds, ponds and water features, photographic exhibits and sounds to aid contemplation. You can also take advantage of the opening of the Town Hall balconies to discover the garden in a different way, with its shape inspired by the Métro Folies logo: Sundays, October 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2 pm to 6 pm, and Sunday, November 2, 2 pm to 4 pm.
